I grow flowers, stories, dreams, and pleasure practices.
A budding herbalist and magic seeker, I dream of wild and free futures of joyous care. My last twenty years span an Appalachian, liberation-centered journey of:
community media
rural resilienceRaised along creeks and coal trains, my current offerings sprout from deep mountain healing technologies:
herb medicine
and beyond…
I currently have two exciting projects emerging:
I’d love to connect with you around these new blooms and more. Reach out.

"Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation.
– bell hooks
Healing is an act of communion."
Like bell hooks, rural Kentucky roots and queer becoming guide my path. bell taught me the first healing justice principle:
collective trauma is healed collectively.
We practice the world we want within the old, together. From gardens to assemblies, organizing is a magical practice and investment in the future. By age 30, I helped seed two Appalachian futurist organizations and a radical media company, all rooted enough to grow without me now.
The traumas of capitalism eroded me along the way. Since leaving full-time work in 2019, slow pruning has spurred regeneration and new blooms. We've all shared the terror of recent years. Healing Justice provides a framework for healing in community and growing through collective grief. Our roots are deep and soil abundant. Let's learn from bugs and listen to plants; Float healing waters and expand our harvest.
